LKAB's dam in Kiruna

    
To make continued mining possible under safe conditions in the northern part of the Kiirunavaaramalmen, LKAB is building a dam. The purpose of the dam construction is to reduce the risk of leakage into the mine and enable mining of the so-called sea ore.
