Kolbäcksleden

An extensive redevelopment of the E12 in Umeå with the aim of reducing the frequent traffic through Umeå city center. The project consists largely of a rebuilding of the Kolbäcksleden in Umeå to four-lane road, five circulation sites, a planed traffic area, two road bridges and more. Peab was commissioned by the Swedish Road Safety Agency in 2010 and it was completed in autumn 2012.

The Kolbäck project is part of the Umeå project, which aims to improve air quality, traffic safety and increase accessibility in central Umeå. This is by building a ring road around Umeå.

Our task was to perform measurement services in this comprehensive assignment. Our client was Peab Anläggning.
